James H. Sullivan 85 of Cuyahoga Falls passed away peacefully on Wednesday July 20 2011. Jim was born on December 16 1925 in Trenton NJ to the late Harold and Helen Sullivan; however he spent most of his life in the Akron area. Jim was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary in the Falls. He was also a Navy veteran of WWII. Jim retired from McNeil Co. with 40 years of service and then later also retired from Ace Precision. Some of Jim's favorite things to do were bowling golfing and playing cards at the Quirk Center. He was a member of the Fairlawn Men's Bowling League Ohio Bell Men's Golf League McNeil Golf League and the Brookledge Golf League. Jim was preceded in death by his parents; brothers Harold and Gene; sisters Pat Avry and Elizabeth Bennett. He will be dearly missed by his loving wife Patricia (Minor) of 56 years son Michael (Dawn) of Bath and daughter April Sullivan of Cuyahoga Falls granddaughter Elizabeth of Copley and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Oyakawa and to the staff at Hospice on Ridgewood Rd. Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday July 25 2011 11AM at Immaculate Heart of Mary Parish 1905 Portage Trail Cuyahoga Falls where the family will receive friends an hour prior to the Mass.
