James R. Grammer, age 87, passed away on March 4, 2014. He proudly served our country in the US Army and was a member of the Masonic Temple Lodge #83. Jim retired from Ohio Edison after 35 years of service and also owned his own business, S and Y Lighting. At age 85, Jim was proud to earn his GED from Massillon High School. He was a hardworking, family man with strong values and a zest for life. Preceded in death by his wife of 67 years, Sara; he is survived by his children, Ralph Grammer of Copley and Maryanne (Richard) Davis of Somerset, Kentucky; grandchildren, Rene Devenport, Nikki Davis, and Dominic Papa; great grandchildren, Courtney, Megan, Tyler, Arisa, Jacob and Justin; 3 great great grandchildren and companion, Anna Nussbaumer.
