James Farmer

Dr. James I. Farmer 87 formerly of Akron passed away on January 23 2013. After 30+ years James retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber serving as the plant's physician. He was preceded in death by his wife Theresa M. Farmer; and his sisters Kay and Margaret. James will be greatly missed by his loving children: Jim (Nicole LeSaux) Farmer and their children Kristin Danielle and Stephanie of Ottawa Ontario; Nancy (Ted) Dziak and their children Brian Tim and Amy of Fairview Park OH; Mike (Tish) Farmer and their children Samantha Chelsea and Michael of Milford NH; and John (Jody Rose Platt) Farmer and Sabrina of Herndon VA. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at 11:00 AM on Saturday January 26 2013 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 476 Mull Ave Akron. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Family will receive friends at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd on Friday afternoon from 4-6 PM.
