Jack Welton went to be with the lord November 6, 2024. A lifelong resident of Copley, OH he served as assistant chief and paramedic for Copley Fire Dept. for over 25 years. Owner of Welton Maintenance since 1960 he served the community that he loved. He was instrumental in saving the Copley Train Depot and moving it to it's current location and, with his wife Barbara, were founding members of the Copley Historical Society. Jack and several members of the Copley Fire Dept. were the first to become paramedics in the area on a volunteer fire dept.
Jack is survived by his wife of 66 years Barbara, his children; Mark Welton, and Duane (Stephanie) Welton, sister; Nancy (Bob), brother; Jim (Margaret), Ed (Sandy), Cal (Roberta), Robert (Patricia),grandchildren; Ashley, Sarah, Tyler, and Austin, and great grandchildren; Jackson, Greyson, Luke, Beau, and Adaline.
