Irene Osborn

Irene M. Osborn (nee Von Gunten) 89 of Copley passed away peacefully on September 30 2009 at Apostolic Christian Home. She was born on February 11 1920 in Akron and was a lifelong resident of Copley. Irene was preceded in death by her husband of 60 years Richard; sisters Thelma and Joyce; and brother Bob. She is survived by her children Dennis (Jane) Leonard Elaine Moore Larry (Janet) and Thomas (Angela); 13 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; brothers Charles and Jim; sisters Alice and Faye; and many other family and friends. Irene was employed by the Copley Post Office Osborn Greenhouse Old Trail School Cleveland Fabrics and Blair House as well as being a devoted homemaker mother and grandmother. She was a talented seamstress and enjoyed many other crafts and hobbies. Irene was an active member of Copley United Methodist Church. Irene's family would like to thank the many caregivers for their support over the past four years. Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 AM Monday October 5 2009 at Copley United Methodist Church 1518 S. Cleveland-Massillon Road. Interment in Copley Township Cemetery with Rev.
