Irene Horn

Irene S. Horn 85 passed away July 26 2006 at Hospice Care Center on Ridgewood. On that day God said Irene take my hand and I will free you of all pain and reunite you with your husband of 64 years Richard J. Horn. Irene was born on July 6 1921 and was a life-long Akron resident. Irene was a member of St. Bernard Church. She loved golf boating and quilting. She is survived by her sister Julia Swan; daughters Irene (Juell) Stinnett and Bonnie J. Thompson; grandchildren Richard Stinnett of GA Danny Stinnett of NM Kimberly (Mark) Kuss of Brimfield; nephew Jerry Swan; great-grandson Zachary Kuss and good friend James Hill. The family would like to express their gratitude for the excellent care and concern shown to Irene by Carolyn Shari caregivers Speech Therapist Terry and Nurse Lynn. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Monday July 31 10 AM at St. Bernard Church 44 University Ave. Akron. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E.
