Howard Tanner

Howard Tanner, age 60, of Akron, Ohio passed away March 2, 2017 following a short illness. He was born August 31,1956 at home on Little Leatherbark, WV. He is survived by sisters Kathy Tanner of Bear Fork, Veronica (Gary) May of Arnoldsburg, Joyce Crouser of North Carolina, and Kimberly Jones of Oklahoma; brothers James Tanner of Arnoldsburg, Michael (Julieann) of North Carolina, Kevin (Dee) of Millwood, Keith (Marie) and Kevin (Shelly) of Spencer; three daughters Amanda, Carrie and Brenda all of Akron, Ohio; many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by father Albert Tanner, mother Frances Tanner, brother Denver Tanner, niece Samantha Pearson and nephew Marlyn May. He will Go Rest High On That Mountain at the family cemetery on Altizer. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date.
