Horace Foster

VIEW MEMORIAL PHOTO TRIBUTE'' Horace Foster 79 of Akron laid down to rest July 11 2007. Born in Lawrenceburg Tennessee on June 26 1928. He lived most of his life in the Akron area. He proudly served his country in the US Navy and Army during the Korean War. He retired from Owens Corning and N.R.M. Corporation with a total of 49 years of service. Dad made friends everywhere he went he enjoyed spending time with his family working in his yard and watering flowers with Sarah his granddaughter. He was preceded in death by his parents 13 siblings grandson Christopher Neal Foster and lifelong friend Jack Wise. He is survived by Carol his wife of 56 years; daughter Vicki (Glenn) Sutphin sons Michael (Kathy) Foster Jeff (Margie) Foster Tim (Lisa) Foster. Grandchildren: David Lindsey Danielle Nick Steve Dayna Sarah and Matthew; 4 great grandchildren and many many friends. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 17 2007 at 11:00 Am at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd. Interment in Chestnut Hill Cemetery in Doylestown.
