Holden Dakota Andress (5/16/19-8/7/19) Holden Dakota Andress of Akron, Ohio passed away peacefully in his mother's arms on August seventh, two thousand nineteen at Akron Children's Hospital. Holden was born May sixteenth, two thousand nineteen at 4:42AM. For the entire 84 days of his life in the NICU; Holden taught his family love, trust, patience and strength-will his ability and determination to overcome every obstacle he had to endure. Holden is preceded in death by his uncle, Dakota Walenciej; his great grandparents, Robert (Sr.) and Cheryl Andress; and all others that were able to greet him when he arrived to Heaven. Holden is survived by his mother, Kori Layne Andress; grandparents, Robert and Stephanie Andress ('Nunny' and 'Pappy') and Jeff and Donna Mullen ('Gam Gam' and 'Gampaw'); great grandparents, Regis and Mary Lou Metheney ('nana' and 'papa'); uncles, Bobby, Aaron and Klayton Andress; uncle Jeff Ludwig; aunt Kayla Andress; aunt Brianna Sokol; aunt Heaven Mullen; cousin Emma Andress; and everyone else who loves him and supported him. We would like to sincerely thank the physicians and staff at Akron Children's Hospital for giving Holden a fighting chance and giving his mommy 84 precious days with him. They made sure he was treated like more than a patient and loved him like family. We are forever grateful. Holden's calling hours will be held at Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St., in Akron, OH, on Tuesday, August 13, 2019. The viewing will begin at 4:00 PM and end at 7:00 PM. This will be open to the public so Holden can have everone give him the proper send-off that he deserves. 'Fly high, Peanut. We love you!'
