Henry McDougal

Henry Carl McDougal, age 53, passed away on November 9, 2021. He was born in Orrville, Ohio to Henry and Shirley McDougal on May 27, 1968. Henry married Kathryn (Lawrentz) McDougal on July 7, 2007 and she survives.

Henry is also survived by his children, Henry McDougal, Katlin McDougal and Kaylee McDougal; his mother, Shirley McDougal; and brother, Stephan McDougal.

He was preceded in death by his father, Henry McDougal; sister, Carman (McDougal) Collins; and father-in-law, Michael J. Hollo.

As a young man, Henry was involved with the Boy Scouts of America and worked his way up to becoming an Eagle Scout. He loved his family and friends and touched many people's lives. Henry knew so many people he was nicknamed "the mayor". He was also a jokester and loved to pull pranks. He would always say, "I'm glad you got to see me today. "

Henry was passionate about playing drums and played them hard. He loved all types of music and was actively involved in the church music ministry. Henry loved technology and fixing computers. He worked with Bacher Computer Solutions out of Illinois for 6 years.

Henry's wish was to be cremated and a Celebration of Life will be held at Northside Christian Church, 7615 Ridge Road, Wadsworth on November 28, 2021 beginning at 3:00 p.m. with Christian McAllister and Brad Starn officiating. A time of fellowship will follow till 6:00 p.m.
