Henry Mitchell 'Hank' Fawcett 87 of Akron OH and Jupiter Island FL died Friday December 8 2006. Hank was born in Canton OH and graduated from Colgate College where he was an All American Basketball player. He was also a graduate of Harvard Business School. Hank served in the Navy during WWII where he rose to the rank of LT. J.G. He spent his professional life at Mohawk Rubber Company where he was Chairman and C.E.O. Hank served on the board of the First National Bank of Akron was a member of Portage Country Club The Jupiter Island Club The Jupiter Island Yacht Club Laurel Valley Golf Club Rolling Rock Pine Valley and The Los Angeles Country Club. He was predeceased by his wife Mary Ellen and his grandson Stephen and is survived by his daughters Jane (Steve) Comunale Julie (Terry) Deane both of Akron Ellen (Bill)Tobin of Vero Beach FL; sister Jane Shipley; dearest Ruthie Juve; grandchildren Amanda Jane Comunale John Andrew Fawcett Comunale and T.
