Helen Seibel

Helen Seibel, 98, formerly of Akron, Ohio, passed away October 3, 2014 at her home in Dacula, Georgia. She was born Helen Mabel Dreyer on April 6, 1916, and lived most of her life in Akron, Ohio. After her husband Jake died in 1999, she moved to Georgia to live with her son Jake and his partner Jim. She took up bowling when she was in her sixties and continued to actively bowl until she was 90 years old. That was her favorite pastime out of the home, though she loved shopping as well. At home, she loved to care for and be loved by her dogs. Helen was a homemaker during her lifetime. She always put others first and wanted the best for them. Preceded in death by her brother Chester, her husband Jake, and her daughter Carolee, she is survived by her sons, David Seibel Sr., and his wife Debbie, Jake Seibel and his partner Jim, and grandchildren Michelle and Paul Miller, Desirea and Jeff Gadel, Kelly and Greg Clites, Anthony and Lisa Seibel, Dave Seibel Jr. and Tommy Morgan. In addition, she had 8 great-grandchildren, Ashley, Amanda, Paul Jr., Dylan, Logan, Seth, Michael, Michelle, and eight great-great grandchildren. She will be greatly missed by her family and her beloved poodle, Sammy.
