View Memorial Photo TributeHelen Louise Dieter (nee Brenner) 84 Copley Ohio resident for over 36 years passed away surrounded by her family on Tuesday June 17 after a brief illness. Born on June 29 1923 in Butler PA she married Wayne Roland Dieter on July 1st 1950 in Butler PA. Helen was a longtime member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Akron. She was also very active in the Daughter's of the American Revolution (D.A.R.) and served on the Women's Associate Board of the East Akron Community House. She enjoyed traveling with her husband family and friends. She will be greatly missed by her husband of 58 years Wayne R. Dieter; son & daughter-in-law Craig (Beth) of Walton KY; daughters Rebecca Dieter (Michael Hance) of Akron OH and Lesa Dieter (Mike Baker) of Cleveland OH; her grandson Scott Dieter of Walton KY; and her brother John Brenner of Richmond VA. She was preceded in death by her parents Kathryn and Clarence Brenner sister Mary Jane Erickson and infant twin children Scott and Susan. Visitation will be Friday June 20th from 6pm - 8pm at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Road Copley OH. Services will be held at 10:30 am Saturday June 21 2008 at Westminster Presb. Church at 224 West Exchange St. Akron OH with visitation from 9:30-10:00 AM prior to the service. Cremation to follow with interment in Evergreen Cemetery New Bedford PA at a later date. Memorials may be made to Westminster Presbyterian Church or the D.A.R.
