Helen Blateric

Helen Blateric 92 of Copley passed away Monday September 30 2013. Helen was born in Akron on May 30 1921 to the late Stephen and Catherine Blateric. Helen was a teacher for the Akron School Systems for 42 years specializing in Elementary Education. After working as a teacher she later served as a principal for 28 years. Helen enjoyed traveling reading and golfing in her free time. She will be dearly missed. She is preceded in death by her parents and brothers Walter and Paul. Helen is survived by her sister and best friend Violet Blateric and loving friend Sharon Burgess. Visitation will be held on Thursday October 3 2013 from 5-8 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. Copley. Funeral Services will take place at 11 AM on Friday October 4 2013 at the Hummel Funeral Home. Entombment in Rose Hill Burial Park to follow.
