Heidi DeLapa

Heidi Ann (Po) DeLapa 47 passed away suddenly on June 25 2004. Heidi was born in Willoughby Ohio and spent most of her life in the Akron area. A sensitive and loving soul she was dedicated to her family loved her gardens and enjoyed her ocean beach vacations. She brought beauty and grace to the world of those closest to her. She was preceded in death by her father Richard Leopold; step-father Harold Welch; brother Bill Welch; father-in-law Dr. Richard J. DeLapa and sister-in-law Diane DeLapa. Heidi is survived by her husband R.J. DeLapa Jr.; daughters Jessica and Alissa; mother Alice Welch; siblings Lori (Jr.) Aloisi Martin (Ginny) Leopold Gretchen (Phil) Drago Jim Welch Karen Welch; mother-in-law Patricia DeLapa; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law David (Lynne) DeLapa Joanne Delapa John (Jennifer) DeLapa and Nancy DeLapa Keny. She was the beloved aunt of Andrew (Sharon) and Jeff Aloisi Bryan Leopold Chris and Melissa Drago Kara and Kailyn Welch Samantha DeLapa Jennifer Dougherty Jonathan and Nolan DeLapa Gebby Keny III Jim Jason and Jamie Dolan. Her special friends and cousins include Terry DeLapa Geb Keny Jr. Barb Welch Karen Cathy Sheila Bill and their families (Big Pine FL) Gene Johnson and Mackenzie. Mass of Christian Burial Wednesday June 30 2004 at 10:00 at St. Bernards Church. Interment in Rose Hill. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. on Tuesday from 4-8.
