Hedwig Vinson

Hedwig 'Jeanne' Krasinski Vinson, age 97, of Akron, passed away on May 16, 2015. Jeanne was born on July 13, 1917 in Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania and moved to the Akron area at the age of 2 ½. She lived in Florida for 18 years (1963-1981). She was a resident of the Village at St. Edwards. Jeanne is preceded in death by her parents Felix and Martha Krasinski; infant son, Charles Jr. 'Butchie' Vinson; sisters, Sophie Mileski and Helen DeMass; and brothers, Joseph, Kai, Leo and Henry Krasinski. She leaves behind sons, Roger (Myra) Vinson of Sevierville, TN and Sidney (Linda) Vinson of Green Cove Springs, FL; 2 granddaughters, Dr. Amber (Rev. Dan) Adams and Virginia (Gene) Hays; 2 great grandsons, Nathan and Noah Adams and many nieces and nephews. A memorial service will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, May 23 at the Village of St. Edwards Chapel, 3131 Smith Rd. Fairlawn, Ohio, with graveside service to follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E.
