Harry Gray

Harry D. Gray 79 of Akron beloved husband and father passed away peacefully on Monday September 26 2011. He is preceded in death by his wife Jane Gray. Harry is survived by his children Mary Kay Fleet Janice (George) Cabaniss Michael Gray and Frank Gray; grandchildren Chad Lampe and Todd Fleet; and 2 great-grandchildren. He retired from the Akron Police Department in 1978 and proudly served his country in the US Navy during the Korean War. A prayer service will take place at 1:45 PM on Saturday October 1 2011 at Hummel Funeral Home COPLEY 3475 Copley Rd. Harry's family will receive friends prior to the service from 12 noon until 1:45 PM. Inurnment will take place at 12:30 PM on Monday October 3 at Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery Rittman.
