Harold Schafer

Harold F. Schafer 84 of Akron died peacefully November 9 2012. He was born to Christian and Martha Schafer in Akron and was a life resident. He retired from Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co. after 30 years of service. Harold enjoyed retirement spending time outdoors on his farm. He was preceded in death by his parents; and sisters Evelyn Hardwick and Rosemary (David) Davis. Harold is survived by his sisters Vera Anthon and Eileen Dunn; brother Donald (Linda) Schafer; brother-in-law Joseph Hardwick; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will take place at 11:00 AM on Wednesday November 14 2012 at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St Akron. Interment will take place at Rose Hill Burial Park Fairlawn.
