Harold M. Eckart, March 10th, 1930-September 16, 2014 Harold was born To Clyde and Mary (Scott) Eckart of Copley Ohio. He grew up on Eckart & Sons Dairy Farm in Copley and graduated from Copley High School in 1948 and from Kent State University in 1952. Harold was a life-long member of Copley United Methodist Church and served as Sunday School Superintendent for 20 years and as a choir member for 55 years. He served as general contractor and carpenter to build his family's home and worked for Parma City Schools for 33 years as a teacher, counselor, and assistant principal. Harold was recognized for service in numerous educational and community organizations. He is survived by Lois, his wife of 64 years, children Brian (Karen), Ralph (Julia), Glen (Piper), Ellen (Ray) Hesketh, Esther (Ken) Post, and 11 grandchildren: Michael Eckart, Ian and Kelly Eckart, Aaron Hesketh, Isaac, Caleb, Seth, Susie, Micah Post, Ed and Katherine Aune; and siblings Richard Eckart and Dorothy Hawk. He was preceded in death by brother Lester Eckart and sister Hazel Neveu.
