Harold Bujorian

Harold Gabriel Bujorian was born March 6 1923 in Akron Ohio to the late Marie and Gabriel Bujorian and passed away suddenly on June 4 2013 in Thornton Colorado at the Villas of Sunny Acres. He had celebrated his 90th birthday in March. Harold graduated from Akron East High School and was employed 45 years with Goodyear Tire and Rubber Company. He worshipped faithfully as a St. Hilary parishioner from its beginnings and was a multiple Ohio Senior Olympics track & field champion/competitor. Harold was also an Akron Silver League Softball player for 20 years. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers Joseph Alfred and Frank; numerous brother and sister-in laws; son-in-law Stephen L. Drozda. Harold is survived by his wife of 55 years Emma Jane (Philippi); daughter Cathy Drozda ; son Philip; grandchildren Keeley Stephen Ryan and Shelly Drozda; and Zachary Bujorian; sisters Lucy Endlich and Millie Rood; numerous nieces and nephews. The family wishes to acknowledge nieces Jeane Riley and Joan Olson who lovingly looked after Harold and his wife Emma Jane in their later years in Ohio before their move to Colorado with their children and grandchildren. Memorial services were held June 7th in Colorado for his immediate family. Calling hours Tuesday June 11 2013 5-8 PM at Hummel Funeral Home 3475 Copley Rd. Copley. Mass of Christian burial will take place Wednesday June 12 2013 9:30 AM at St Hilary Catholic Church 2750 W. Market St. Fairlawn 44333. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery to follow.
