Gregory Leo Fifer, age 56, passed away peacefully on January 6, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Greg leaves behind his best friend and wife, Kimberly and his most precious devoted son, Tyler, who was his greatest gift from God. They loved to watch sports, throw the football, wrestle and watch Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy and just be together. He is also survived by his mother-in-law, Betty Pavlin, who he loved dearly; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Deborah (John) Critchfield, Denise (Tim) Breiding, David (Ruscell) Pavlin and Brian (Stacey) Pavlin and many nieces and nephews, who he adored. Greg was preceded in death by his father-in-law, Richard Pavlin. The family would like to thank Dr. Anthony Cucci, who showed great compassion and care; the nurses at Akron General ICU Med and the 9th Floor and especially Denise and Tim Breiding whom was with Greg until his passing. A Memorial Mass will be 11:00 a.m. Monday, January 12, 2015 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 476 Mull Ave. Akron, Ohio.
