Gloria Haddad

Gloria Ann Haddad 80 of Akron died May 28 2005. She was one of the most knowledgeable real estate brokers in Akron having worked in the industry for over 50 years. Gloria was recognized and respected by her peers and she was a mentor to many within the real estate industry as well as within her own company Bethel Associates Inc. She was awarded the Order of the Papal Household from Pope John Paul II and The Masabaki Award for services rendered to her church. She also served as past president of the ladies guild of Our Lady of Cedars. After retiring from the real estate industry she volunteered at the church as secretary for several years. Her generosity and thoughtfulness was a legend and never turned away anyone in need of help. She is survived by her sister Gertrude Shadeed of Fairlawn; nephews Edward Shadeed of Fairlawn Dr. Joseph (Susan) Shadeed of Bucyrus OH Fred Haddad of Cuyahoga Falls Richard (Cindy) Haddad of Bath; other nieces and nephews living out of state. Rite of Christian Burial will be held on Thursday June 2 2005 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of the Cedars of Mt. Lebanon 507 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd. Interment in the Holy Cross Cemetery.
