Gloria Bruno

Gloria M. Bruno of Tallmadge united with her Lord on Monday May 7th 2012. She was born March 15 1927 in Akron Ohio. She was a graduate of Akron Garfield High School and lifelong member of the Akron Community. Throughout her life Gloria worked as the book keeper for various family businesses. As a member of Our Lady of Victory Catholic Church Gloria enjoyed many beautiful friendships. In her later years Gloria enjoyed spending time with her family and trips to the beauty salon. She spent many hours enjoying the company of her dedicated daughter Phylis who cared for her throughout her illness. Gloria was preceded in death by her parents Luther and Marjorie McCurry; sister Barbara Leiby. She is survived by her husband of 60 years Robert S. Bruno of Tallmadge; daughter Phylis Bruno of Erie PA; son Robert (Susan) Bruno of Stow; her grandchildren Robert (Wendy) Bruno of Sunbury; Angela (Steven) Boie of San Diego CA; Andrew (Alison) Bruno of Medina; great grandson Roman Bruno; nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday May 11 2012 at 10:30 AM at Our Lady of Victory Parish 73 North Ave. Tallmadge OH 44278. Interment will follow at Tallmadge Cemetery. Friends may call on Thursday afternoon from 3-6 PM at Hummel Funeral Homes 500 E. Exchange St Akron.
