Gino Frisone

VIEW PICTURE TRIBUTE Gino J. Frisone 79 of Copley died March 26 2007. Gino was born on June 18 1927 in Poughkeepsie NY. He served his country in the U.S. Navy in WWII. Gino received his Ph.D. from University of PA in Analytical Chemistry. He moved to Copley OH in 1971 to join General Tire and became the Section Head of Analytical Research and Services and retired on December 31 1993. He was active in Copley Historical Society Kiwanis loved to travel and was an avid golfer and square dancer with the Norton Grand Squares. Gino was preceded in death by his son Stephen; parents Euphemia and Francesco Frisone; brothers Nicholas and Enrico and sister Theresa. He is survived by his wife Virginia; children Carolyn (Charles) Peters of St. Paul MN. Dennis Frisone of Copley and Jeffery Frisone of Lyon France. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday March 30 2007 at 10 am at Guardian Angels Catholic Church 1686 S. Cleve-Mass Rd. Interment in Rose Hill Burial Park with military honors by American Legion Post 473 and Copley VFW Post 7971.
