Gilda Petrarca

Gilda M. Petrarca died Monday February 13 2012. She was born on May 21 1914 in Akron OH. She was predeceased by her husband Anthony J. Petrarca parents Emedia and Antonio Buzzelli brothers Ralph and Steve Buzzelli and grandson Paul A. Petrarca. Gilda is survived by sons and their families: Anthony S. (Emily) Petrarca William H. (Jane) Petrarca; grandchildren E. Matthew (Chrissie) Amy (Dusty) Julie (Michelle); greatgrandsons Apollo and Sam; brother Mario (Mary); sisters-in-law Caroline and Josephine; as well as many cherished nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian burial will take place at 10:00 AM on Thursday February 16 2012 at Blessed Trinity Catholic Church 300 E. Tallmadge Ave Akron 44310. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery to follow. Friends may call at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. Akron on Wednesday February 15 2012 from 4-7 PM.
