VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE'' Geraldine E. Messina 92 of Akron died April 18 2006 at Windsong Care Center. Jerry was a life resident of Akron graduated from South High School. She was a member of St. Bernard Church Alpha Delta Pi mothers club and the twenty one club. Preceded in death by her husband John in 1990 she is survived by her children and spouses Joanne and Bill Owen Jr. John and Donna Messina grandchildren William (Ellen) Owen Scott (Mary) Owen Lorilyn (Tim) Wallace Melissa Owen Leslie (George) Sliman John (Christine) Messina Michael (Lisa) Messina David (Jennifer) Messina and 13 great-grandchildren. Mass of Christian Burial will be Saturday April 22 2006 at 10:00 AM at St. Bernards Church 44 University Ave. Interment in Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St on Friday from 5-8 PM. Memorial donations may be made to St. Bernard Church.
