Gerald Hatala

Jerry Hatala from Akron, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly March 25, 2017. We are thankful that he was able to live his life the way he wanted to. Jerry served in the Marines from 1964 to 1967. He retired from BF Goodrich after 33 years of service which took him to Alabama for a short time then back to Akron. Born November 18, 1943. Jerry was preceded in death by his wife Marybeth, parents Joseph and Voila and sister Joannie. Jerry is survived by daughters Melissa (Jerry) McCray, Diane Topper (Dennis Wagner), stepdaughter, Bobbi (John) Lake, grandchildren, Hannah and Mason McCray and brothers, Ed (Becky) Hatala and Larry (Debbie) Hatala. There will be a celebration of life on Saturday, April 1st at Sam-E's from 1 - 5.
