George Scheip

George CRAIG Scheip, 69, of Copley, OH passed away March 21, 2022. He was born on June 30, 1952 in Souderton, PA. He met his wife at Kentucky Wesleyan College where he graduated with a Bachelors in Business Administration. That degree served him well as he enjoyed a successful career in the food business for over 35 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Gloria Scheip. He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Debbie (Bellamy), his son, Matt Scheip of Fairlawn, OH; brothers Michael Scheip (Mary) of Sarasota, FL and Steven Scheip (Pat) of Souderton, PA, seven nephews, and a large network of other family and friends.
Craig loved sports and music. He supported the Cleveland teams, but he also always rooted for his hometown teams in Philadelphia. His work offered him many opportunities to travel, which he loved. He enjoyed touring colleges and stadiums, and he liked to explore different cities. He was a loving husband, father, brother and friend.
The family will receive friends Friday, April 1 from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Road, Copley, Ohio. Memorial service will be 11 a.m. on Saturday, April 2 at the funeral home.
