VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE George R. Martin of Sophia WV died June 28 2006 at Hospice Care Center. George was preceded in death by his wife Vera son George R. Martin II second wife Roberta sisters Lucille Wiseman and LaVerne Hinte and brother Raliegh. He is survived by his daughter Karan (Ron-E) Overcasher grand-daughter Veronica and great- grandson Jason; brothers Troy (Charlotte) and Roy Dale (Wanda) sister Lorene Goddard and friend Ramona Massey. Cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday July 3 at 2:00 p.m. at Calvary Baptist Church 820 White Pond Drive Akron OH 44320 with Pastor Doug Shoup officiating. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Calvary Baptist Church.
