Copley- George L. Frank 85 passed away peacefully at his home on February 21 2011. He was born January 30 1926 on the Frank farm to the late George and Ilabelle (Carey) Frank. He married Barbara Scott on October 13 1951. He was a member of the Copley Methodist Church and Loyal Oak VFW. He served in World War 11 and was a member of the 42nd Division of the Rainbow. George was a devoted Cleveland Indians fan and also enjoyed football and basketball. He loved spending time with family friends as well as family pets. He is survived by wife Barbara daughter Debbie(Steve) Clark of Coshocton son Jeff grandchildren Sarah(Mike) Mooney Kirsten(Kory) McPeck Elizabeth(Paul) Napier great-grandchildren Kiera Leah and Devynn two sisters Dorothy(Bill) Trent Edie(Glenn) Hutchison brother Donald(Joyce) Frank and nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by parents brothers Albert Harold and David and two infant siblings. A Funeral service will be held on Thursday February 24 2011 at 5 PM at Copley United Methodist Church 1518 S. Cleveland-Massillon Rd. where the family will receive friends from 3-5 PM. Cremation to follow. Memorial contributions may be made to the Copley Methodist Church and Hospice on Ridgewood Rd.
