Gene Hall

Gene L. Hall 79 of Akron passed away Tuesday December 15 2009. He was born February 19 1930 in Charleston WV to the late Shirley and Mabel (Jarvis) Hall. Gene was a veteran of the Korean and Vietnam Wars and was a recipient of a gold medal and Silver Star. He is survived by one brother: Ronald of Orma WV and three sisters: Dorothy Ice of Belpre OH Velma Demboski of Beckley WV and Mary Hunter of College Park MD. He was also a good friend and care giver to Edgar Lindsey. He is preceded in death by three brothers: Roy Bernard and Carl; and one sister Judy. Gene was a Christian by faith. Funeral Services will be held on Thursday December 17 2009 at 1 PM at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. AKRON. Interment in Sunset Hills Memory Gardens with Reverend Becki Bowan-Verbridge officiating. Friends may call at Hummel Funeral Home on Thursday from 11AM-1 PM.
