Gary Lanham

VIEW VIDEO TRIBUTE Gary Lanham Sr. 59 passed away on February 12 2005 in Akron Ohio. He was born February 23 1945 in Fairmont WV. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1962-1967 and was retired from Lockheed Martin in 2001. He was an active member of the VFW Fraternal Order of the Eagles and the Loyal Order of the Moose. Mr. Lanham is survived by sons Gary (Shawn) Lanham of Barrackville WV David (Lisa) Lanham of Akron OH daughter Karissa (Brian) Montgomery of Fayetteville NC; eleven grandchildren: Matthew Jenna Christian Nick Katie Molly Beth Joey Tara Zoe and Brody; brothers Dennis (Rosemary) Napier John (Sheila) Napier of Lumberport WV sisters Linda McKnight of Bridgeport WV and Lisa (Chuck) Everson of Phillipi WV; stepfather John B. Napier of Lumberport WV; and special friend Regina Tabor of Akron OH. He was preceded in death by parents Edward Lanham and Betty Napier and grandmother Hazel Cline. The family will receive friends on Wednesday February 16 2005 from 4-8 PM at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange St. in Akron. A Memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday at Harmer Funeral Home in Shinnston WV.
