Frank Woodrum

Frank L. Woodrum 84 of Copley died September 2 2005 at Altercare of Wadsworth. Frank was born on April 13 1921 in Akron OH. Frank graduated from Hower Trade School. He served in the United States Army in WW11. He retired from the Woodrum Insurance Agency and Woodrum Leasing in 1983. A 50-year resident of Copley he served as president of the Kiwanis and was active in the American Legion VFW Copley United Methodist Church and other community activities. During retirement Frank enjoyed his Grandchildren woodworking and cars. Frank was preceded in death by his parents Claude & Ima Woodrum brothers Orville & Vernon. He is survived by his wife of 61 years Evelyn Ruth Woodrum nee Stewart of Copley OH. Sons James (Phyllis) Woodrum of Wadsworth; Frank O. (Carolyn) Woodrum of Doylestown and daughter Linda (William) DeCastro of Wadsworth OH. Grandchildren Julie Jim Rachel Brian Kevin Corey Kelly Mike Rusty Keith Kurt and Great Grandchildren Alexis Olivia Riley Leyton Miles and Matthew. A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday September 7th 11:00 am at the Copley United Methodist Church 1518 Cleveland-Massillon Road with Rev. Becki A. Bowan-Verbridge officiating. Memorial donations may be made to Copley United Methodist Church or Wadsworth-Rittman Hospice.
