Frank Sherman

Frank John Sherman, 80, was a great man loved by all who knew him. He passed away Nov. 24, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Frank was born August 12, 1935 in Akron, Ohio, graduated from The University of Akron, and was a member of the Phi Delta Theta fraternity. He was preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Josephine Sherman, he is survived by his wife Eileen, daughter Susan (Bob) Walke, stepchildren Elizabeth Reymann, John (Lynn) Reymann, Erin Lockhart, Joseph (Nicole) Spoonster, Meghan Daubenmire, Kiernen Spoonster, Tom (Karen) Maglione, Tim Maglione, and his grandchildren Alex (Brittany), Aaron, Danielle, Johnna, Charlie, Dana, James, Jordyn, Regan, Delaney, Coben, Hailee and Allie. He is also survived by his sisters Ann Marie (Denis) McCausland, Beverly (Don) McColligan, Joseph (Linda) Sherman and many nieces, nephews and cousins. Frank also had many friends. He never went anywhere that he did not run into someone he knew. A memorial mass will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls on Friday November 27th at 10:00 AM.
