Frank S. Politz

Mr. Frank S. Politz, age 91, passed away on June 18, 2023. He was born in Akron, Ohio on June 19, 1931 to James and Anna Politz.

Frank is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mary; children, Frank (Debbie), Michael, and Teresa; grandchildren, Jeremy (Stephanie), Katie (Jamie), Zia (Ryan), and Mary (Hal) and Anthony; and many great-grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his brothers, Michael (Maxine) and Jim, and son-in-law, Tim Snyder.

Frank enjoyed singing, playing his harmonica, and sitting outside watching the birds. He loved being surrounded by a house full of family, especially his beautiful bride and his toonkas (great-grandchildren).

Visitation will be held from 9:30 to 10:30 am on Friday, June 23, 2023, at St. Paul Parish, 1580 Brown Street, Akron. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 10:30 am on Friday, June 23rd at church. Burial will be at a later date in the Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
