Francis Cleary

Francis A. Cleary peacefully passed away July 18, 2024 at Chapel Hill Community. Frank was born in Columbus, OH. Shortly after he moved to the Akron-Canton area where he attended St. Sebastian's grade school and was a 1970 graduate of Hoban High School. Frank enjoyed careers in environmental services and as a machinist at Baker McMillen Co. where he worked for over 20 years. Frank was a lifelong avid Browns fan and enjoyed going to the movies. His biggest love was spending time with family for holidays, birthdays, reunions and most especially Hilton Head.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents; Francis and Anna Lee Cleary. He is survived by his significant other; Tracy (Pariano) Gergel, his sons; Scott, Tyler Cleary, siblings; Mike, Tom, Cathy Hawes, Ann, Don, Joan, Jim Cleary and many nieces and nephews.

A Mass of Christian burial will take place Thursday August 1, 2024 at St. Sebastian Parish located at 476 Mull Ave. Akron, OH at 11:00 AM. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to the Mass. In lieu of flowers donations can made to Mercy Hospice of Canton or Chapel Hill Community located at 12200 Strausser St. NW Canal Fulton, OH 44614.
