Forrest Clair Fuller died peacefully in his home on September 13th, 2017 in Atwater, Oh. at the age of 88. Forrest was born December 18th, 1928. He was a veteran of a World War II and the Korean Conflict and was a recipient of the purple heart and was awarded the bronze star. Forrest is survived by life long partner Alma Ickes; children: Dan Fuller (Debbie), Bobbie Griffith, Melissa Hathaway (Ed); daughter-in-law Denise Fuller; grandchildren: LCpl Daniel Fuller (Victoria), Alexandra Nace (Cole), Amy Fuller, Ryan Fuller, Nicholas Fuller, Rex Griffith III, great granddaughter: Calianna Hathaway, brother: Duane and his two beloved dogs Otto & Bix. He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Josephine 'Olita' Fuller, brother Jack Fuller (Doris) and son Michael Fuller. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 at NOON at Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. The family will receive friends on Tuesday at the funeral home from 11am - NOON. Interment to follow in Ohio Western Reserve National Cemetery.
