Evelyn Duncan, loving mother and grandmother, age 92, went Home to be with the Lord on April 26, 2018. She was born on April 3, 1926 to the late William and Dorothy Moon. Evelyn was a member of The Chapel in Wadsworth, Lutheran Braille Work Center #191 at Fairlawn Lutheran Church and the American Legion Auxiliary Post #473. She volunteered countless hours with many organizations including: the Summit County Board of Elections, well baby clinic, Red Cross Blood Drive, Sunday School teacher, Bible Study Leader, school volunteer, Girl Scouts, piano teacher, Summit Soil and Water Conservation District. Evelyn enjoyed crocheting, yardwork, sewing and loved birds and butterflies. Preceded in death by her husband, Robert N. Duncan; son, Robert N. Duncan, Jr.; grandson, Michael Duncan; sister, Dorothy Duncan; and brothers, Rick Faust and Paul Moon; she is survived by sister, Gladys (Larry) Boltz; brother, Frank (Marilyn) Faust; children, Patricia (Bob) Schiele, Bonnie (Dave) Stuckey and Julie (Dale) Detwiler; grandchildren, Rob Schiele, Cathy (Kyle) Miasek, Brian (Rachel) Schiele, Scott (Stephanie) Stuckey, Carrie (Matt) Steele, Mike (Kendra) Stuckey, Sarah (Trent) Luckey, Melissa (Tom) Topping, Jessica (Eric) Austin and Jamie (James Budd) Johnson;19 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank Evelyn's special friend, Laura Mathews, and the staffs of Southern Care Hospice, Bath Manor and Barberton Adult Daycare for their care and kindness. Celebration of Life will be held at The Chapel in Wadsworth at 1391 State Road Wadsworth, Ohio 44281 on Sunday, May 6th, 2018. Family and friends will be received at 3:30 pm with service immediately following at 4:30 pm. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to The Chapel in Wadsworth for Camp Carl.
