Eugene Kopriver

Eugene (Bussy) C. Kopriver, age 82 passed away Thursday, December 31, 2015. Gene was a graduate of Copley high School, class of 1951 and lived in Copley for most of his life. Gene was employed by the BF Goodrich Co. for 36 years as an area engineer, where he also helped start a tire plant in Brazil in 1975. Gene was an active member of Guardian Angels Church serving as an usher for many years. Gene was preceded in death by his sister Georgia Mae Subick. He is survived by his son Michael (Chris) Kopriver; daughters Karen (Tim) Murdoch and Sue (Karl) Coben; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; brother Edward (Terry) Kopriver, sisters Joyce SirLouis and Kathy (Dan)Thomann. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, January 5, 2016 from 4 to 7 PM at Hummel Funeral Home, COPLEY, 3475 Copley Rd. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at 10 AM at Guardian Angels Catholic Church 1676 South Cleveland-Massillon Road Copley, Ohio 44321, with burial to follow at Holy Cross.
