Erich Fritz

Erich W. Fritz 79 of Akron died December 22 2005 at Copley Health Center. Erich was born on April 5 1926 in Springfield OH. Erich was preceded in death by his parents William & Emma Fritz and wife of 47 years Mary. He is survived by sons Bill Fritz of Akron Michael (Carol) Fritz and granddaughter Sarah of Ledyard CT. Erich was a graduate of the University of Toledo with a degree in Electrical Engineering. He retired from Ohio Edison (First Energy) after 35 years of service where he was the Superintendent of the Akron Division. He enjoyed traveling around the country in his RV and monthly campouts with the Buckeye Cruisers. Erich had a passion for golf gardening and working with the St. Sebastian ground's crew. Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday December 27 2005 10 AM at St. Sebastian Catholic Church 476 Mull Ave. Entombment in the Rose Hill Burial Park.
