Elizabeth Kovac

Elizabeth (Betty) Kovac 88 lifelong resident of Akron passed away on Friday June 4 2004 after a brief illness. Betty spent the last 20 years working as a secretary for the Wallace Snyder Driver Training and prior to that was employed at the M. ONiel Company with the Ted Oakland Driving School. Betty was a 50 year member of the Herman Sisters-Bertha Lodge No.3. Betty leaves a son John P. (Tish) Kovac of Birmingham AL; Grandchildren John H. and Kelly R. (Mark) Steele a brother John Gauder of British Columbia Canada; and many thoughtful nieces nephews neighbors friends and caregivers. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of Visiting Nurse Service (VNS) 3358 Ridgewood RD Akron OH 44333. The family will receive visitors at the Hummel Funeral Home 500 E. Exchange Street on Monday June 7 2004 from 6-8 pm. Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Vincents Catholic Church 164 W. Market St. at 9:30 am Tuesday followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery.
