Elizabeth Falb

Elizabeth 'Betty' Falb age 85 of Hilliard OH passed away peacefully on Tuesday November 18 2008. She was born and raised in Akron the daughter of Paul and Ethel Dies. Betty was employed at Ohio Bell in Akron for over 40 years working her way up from Operator to Management during her many years of service. She was a gifted seamstress avid reader and loved classic movies. Betty enjoyed travelling; especially her trips to Europe with long time companion Frank. She will be sadly missed by her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her husband Stuart Falb her loving friend Frank Tillman and her brother Thomas Dies. Betty is survived by her brother Robert (Pate) Dies of Akron daughter Paula (Michael) Rand of Willowick OH and her son Bruce (Jill) Falb of Hilliard OH. She was a loving grandmother to her three grandchildren; Brian Michael and Laura Falb. Family will receive friends from 4-8 PM on Thursday November 20 2008 at Hummel Funeral Home 500 E Exchange St. Akron OH 44304. Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday at 10:00 AM at Sacred Heart Church 734 Grant St Akron followed by burial at Holy Cross Cemetery.
