Elizabeth Nemeth

Elizabeth Ann Nemeth, age 79, passed away on February 6, 2022 with her sister and her dog, Snowball, at her side. She was born in Pittsburgh, PA to the late Frank and Elizabeth Nemeth.

Elizabeth was a loving, kind sister and aunt. She had a heart of gold and was always smiling. Elizabeth loved to read, watch TV, loved animals, and taking care of her nieces and nephews when they were young. She worked at Akron General Hospital for 30 years as a nursing assistant. Elizabeth loved helping people and loved the Lord. She was a blessing to all of us and loved dearly.

Elizabeth leaves behind to mourn, sisters, Margie (Kirk) Crowl, Irene (Bob) King, and Linda (Chuck) Foster; brothers, Rev. Frank (Sue) Nemeth, and John (Sharon) Nemeth; many nieces and nephews; and her friends at Fresenius Kidney Care at Corporate Woods.

A Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Little Flower Catholic Parish, 2040 Diamond St NE, Canton. A burial of her cremains will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery, 100 E. Waterloo Road, Akron.
