Elana Paparone

Elana Paparone 85 passed away January 14 2010 at Akron City Hospital. She was born on May 10 1924 and was a life long resident of Akron Ohio. Elana was a member of Annunciation Church and the Sons of Italy Lodge 685. Elana was a very gifted and talented seamstress and worked for many bridal and women's wear dress shops in Downtown Akron. She was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Maria Paparone brothers Lemmy (Catherine) Paparone James (June) Paparone and Arthur (Edna) Paparone sisters Rose (Domenic) Barbuzza and Mary (Angelo) Chiofolo. She is survived by two brothers Basil (Mary) Paparone and Joseph (Marian) Paparone and many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday January 19 2010 at 10 AM The Visitation of Mary Church (formerly Annunciation Church) 87 Broad Street Akron 44305 where the family will receive friends one hour prior. Private interment of ashes in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Church.
