God took our dear Elaine on February 18, 2015 after a brief illness. She now joins her father, Louis Elseg; grandparents, Mihaly and Mary Kosa and Joseph and Mary Elseg. Elaine was born on January 6, 1961. She graduated from St. Vincent-St. Mary High School and the University of Akron. While at the university, she worked at Ace Mitchell Bowlers Mart doing lettering on sports apparel. Then she worked at Wayne Romans Advertising for some years before working on her own as Elseg and Associates doing graphic design for 30 years as well as event planning. She put beauty in her work, the lovely family dinners she hosted and her flower arranging. There was even beauty in the joy she had making ruffled doggie collars that sold on the internet. Left behind to cherish her memory are husband, Greg Nahas; mother, Mary Elseg; brother, John (Jill) Elseg, 'Aunt Lou' Julia Pakurar, Aunt Irene Rodemoyer; cousins, Linda (Stephan)Winterhawk, Barbara (Jerry) Feyh; parents-in-law, Fred and Ruth Nahas; brother-in-law, Paul; sister-in-law, Cathy and many other cousins and friends. We can't forget her 2 doggie loves, Pixie and Peanut. She will be greatly missed. Calling hours will be 4-7 p.m. Monday at the Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. Akron, Ohio 44304 and an hour before the service on Tuesday. Funeral service will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at the funeral home, followed by entombment at Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to One of Kind Pets (929 W. Market St. Akron, OH 44313). Please visit www.hummelcares.com to share memories or condolences.
