Eileen Sherman

Eileen (Spoonster) Sherman (1945 -2019) Eileen passed away peacefully on January 27, 2019 surrounded by family and the sounds of the Lord of the Dance. She was born February 7, 1945 in Akron, Ohio, graduated from Idabelle Firestone School of Nursing in Akron, and retired as a Critical Care Manager in the Intensive Care Unit at Akron City Hospital. Eileen was blessed to have two wonderful husbands that preceded her in death, Joseph Spoonster and Frank Sherman. Her parents, Gilbert and Aileen Reymann and brother Patrick Reymann also preceded her death. She is survived by her children and stepchildren, Erin Lockhart, Joseph (Nicole) Spoonster, Meghan Daubenmire, Kiernen Spoonster, Susan (Bob) Walke, Elizabeth Reymann, John (Lynn) Reymann and her grandchildren, Alex (Brittany), Aaron (Alexandra), Danielle, Johnna, Charlie, Dana, James, Jordyn, Regan, Delaney, Coben, Hailee, and Allie. She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Mary Beth Reymann (Bob), Gil Reymann (Mandy), Isabelle Reymann, and Tim (Noreen) Reymann; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian burial will be held at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 1905 Portage Trail, Cuyahoga Falls on Friday, February 1st at 11 a.m. with interment immediately following at Holy Cross Cemetery. Friends and family may call at Hummel Funeral Home, 3475 Copley Road on January 31st from 5:00 to 7:00pm.
