Edward Starr

Ed passed away on Jan.14, 2016 at the age of 88. He was proceeded in death by first wife Joy; sons Ray and John and three brothers. He is survived by wife Martha (Lieberth); daughters Judy Henderson, Gigi Smith, Laura (Brad) Jurseck and Linda (Mike) Stanley; six grandchildren, four great grandchildren; two brothers and four sisters. Ed was a Marine and veteran of WWII. He was a faithful member of the United Church of God. Ed retired from the City of Akron with 28 years of service. Ed was an accomplished artist and a member of the Akron Art Society. Per Ed's wishes there will be no funeral services. Cremation has taken place. 2Timothy 4:6-12.
