Edgar Glotfelty

Edgar E. Glotfelty 83 of Copley passed away September 1 2010. Edgar was born on October 27 1926 in Akron OH to the late Clarence and Grace (Hoffmeyer) Glotfelty. He was a lifelong truck driver for Glotfelty Trucking. After Edgar retired he drove for Feeny-Mc Intyre Tire Co. Edgar was also a Navy Veteran who received numerous medals and ribbons. Edgar was preceded in death by his wife Lois; son William; daughter Nanci; brothers Harold 'Buddy' and Richard; and his parents. He is survived by son Douglas; daughter Cheryl (Jim) Marton; sister Lois 'Susie' Zendlo; 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday September 7 2010 at 12PM in the mausoleum at Rose Hill Burial Park. No calling hours will be held per Edgar's request. Memorial donations may be made to The Leukemia And Lymphoma Society.
