Dow Thomas

Uncle Dow Dow Richard Thomas passed away January 18 2012 at Akron General Medical Center. Survived by his wife Kay; mother Elaine (Frank Jacobs) Campbell of Copley; sisters Chere (Bill) Schrengauer of Wadsworth OH and Lela (Steve Pollata) Robinson; nieces Morgan Hottensmith Elaine (John) Schnell and Jaz and Jette Robinson. Dow was born May 27 1953 and he grew up in Akron OH. A very talented beloved and well-known comedian and musician Dow started his career in Dayton OH in 1971 performing at the Upper Krust Restaurant. He soon became a focal point for live entertainment in music and comedy throughout Dayton. Among other accomplishments Dow lent his talents to the establishment of Wiley's Comedy Club. He then moved to St. Petersburg FL and took his talents on the road to venues the world over. Dow's life celebration will be held at Wiley's Comedy Club Dayton OH.
