Douglas Faris, II

Douglas W. Faris II, died peacefully May 9, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Doug was born in Lexington, KY, on December 7, 1947 to Faye and Douglas Faris, graduated from Copley HS in 1965, Ohio University in 1969 and was a US Army Veteran. Doug is survived by Martha, his wife of 47 years, and their children, Heather (David Hill) Weitzel, Doug (Margaret) and Brett (Breanne), and grandchildren, Brandon, Caitlyn, Brielle, Beatrice, and Brynne. He is also survived by his mother, Faye, and sisters Connie Smith and Diane Faris. He was preceded in death by his father, Doug, and brother, Alan Faris. Visitation will be Monday, May 15, 4-8 pm at Hummel Funeral Home, 500 E. Exchange St. Funeral service will be Tuesday, May 16, 10 am at the funeral home. Interment at Rose Hill Burial Park
